At Doyle Design & Build, we handle every aspect of a custom home renovation project in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx, as well as Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island. Our founder, Neil Doyle, started our business at the age of 19 and brings decades of hands-on experience to our customers. We’ve done countless renovations across the five boroughs and on Long Island, including home extensions, basement remodels and enlargements, and the addition of dormers, but there’s no project we can’t handle.

At Doyle Design & Build, we’ll be involved in every step of the process, from the initial design concepts through demolition, construction and the last details:
Make an Appointment
When you call, we’ll schedule an appointment to visit your home and learn exactly what you hope to do. Based on our knowledge and experience, we will often make recommendations for accomplishing your goals more effectively and efficiently.
Finalize Architecture Plans
If you already have an architect or designer with whom you are working, we will meet with them to finalize the plans. We have designers and architects we work with on a daily basis and can handle that task, if necessary, or we may work with our own designer/architect.
Oversee all aspects of the project
Once we have final plans, we’ll act primarily as the general contractor, overseeing all aspects of the project. We have extensive experience with all aspects of renovation and construction, from excavation to framing to finish carpentry, and may do much of the work ourselves. When specialists are required, we will actively supervise their work, ensuring that you get the highest quality of craftsmanship, and that the project is completed according to your specifications and approval.
Accessibility & Final Walk Through
We will be available and accessible to you throughout the renovation work, answering questions, making any necessary changes and ensuring that everything is done correctly. When your renovation is complete, we’ll walk through the project with you to ensure it meets or exceeds your expectations.
